Brandon Powell was born in Evansville, Indiana on September 23, 1983, and obtained his juris doctor degree, summa cum laude, from Southern Illinois University in 2013. While attending law school, Brandon served as editor-in-chief of the Journal of Legal Medicine, member of the University’s Moot Court Board, and as a judicial extern for now-Chief Justice Lloyd Karmeier of the Illinois Supreme Court.
Prior to joining Reed, Armstrong, Mudge, & Morrissey, P.C. in 2017, Brandon spent four years in private practice, defending private individuals, insurance companies, and major corporations in a variety of civil lawsuits in both state and federal court. He has represented clients in trial courts and appellate courts in Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky.
